Customer Rating: Summary: This is one VERY good reason to own a Wii.... Comment: Many complain of the lack of great games for the Wii. This game is just about reason enough to own one. It has almost unlimited replay value, mostly with multiplayer modes in my opinion. The Wifi play could be better, but if you ask me the Wii was made as a party system primarily. It plays like an improved version of Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Gamecube (which was another great game itself). I really can't say enough good things about it. There are tons of characters, stages (you can even make your own), unlockables, and it's probably one of the best-looking Wii games out there thus far. Check it out! Customer Rating: Summary: Not very intuitive, not all that fun Comment: I got this game a few months ago, and have tried to play it several times. Unlike most other Nintendo titles, where you can pretty much start it up and the initial levels teach you how the game works, Super Smash Brothers is confusing, boring, and frankly, kind of dumb.
I get the idea that if you have played other versions of this game in the past, then it will all make sense to you. But if you haven't, it doesn't make much sense. Like some of the other reviewers have said, it just feels like you are hitting as many buttons as you can and hoping something will happen.
Additionally, I think of myself as a fairly dedicated Nintendo customer, but apparently not enough to recognize most of the characters in the games. I get the idea that if you have all of that nostalgic background, that's one of the things that "makes" the game for you. If you don't have that, then again, a little boring.
I get the idea this game will take some time to figure out, and from what I have seen initially, there's really nothing there to make me want to. Customer Rating: Summary: A 10 Year Old Kid's Review Comment: This is the ultimate Nintendo fighting game ever! What impreased me was all the new charaters that were'nt in the melee verson. Like Sonic, R.O.B. and Pit. The stages are great too! One of my favorites is Island Defeno. Right now the only new charaters I have are, Ness,Marth,Luigh, and Falco. But, one of the things that I don't like about this game is, Master Hand. Why can't you play as him? Why is it so that you can play as him on Super Smash Bros., but not on Brawl?! Also, what happened to Picha and Mewtwo? Why are they on melee, but not on brawl?! But all and all, this game is awsome! What really had me surprized was the new create a stage. That really helped the game become one of my favorites! But, why can't you make spechele stages? What I maen by that is, why can't you make stages like, Port Town. When the F-Zero hovercrafts try to hit you! If your thinking, man, this kid thinks the game stinks! Then, you are wrong! If you like nintendo charaters and like fighting video games then, this is the one for you! If you decided not to get this game, then may I call you crazzy?! If you like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, then you'll also enjoy Super Smash Bros. Melee on the gamecube. But saddly, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is way better than Super Smash Bros. Melee. So, go out there and get Super Smash Bros. Brawl! I swear, this will be one of your favorite fighting games ever! Customer Rating: Summary: super awesome game Comment: this game is no doubt the best of the best made by nintendo. it takes every nintendo character, from ash to zelda, and everywhere in between and plunges them into a huge brawl, ALL OUT, SWEETLY COOL, KO FEST! ok that does sound graphic, but it really isnt. there isnt blood gore etc. there are weapons, but only a few realistic ones. the adventure mode is fun, but whats fun is beating the crap out of your friends in multiplayer mode! the music is top notch. all in all the best game ever! who knows, you might find a few characters you dont know about. and a hint for playing multiplayer mode. pick a stage called final destination. youll know why after about thirty seconds. Customer Rating: Summary: super super smash bros Comment: This game was issued for my grandson who is 7 he loves it. To much action for nana.
